This is a story I heard from a Jacky Wu’s program. A lady actually jumped off the bridge to commit suicide because of a failed relationship. The guy was extremely terrified because it was his fault that the relationship failed , and he heard that the spirit of the lady would actually come back to find him . He was advised to actually hide under the bed because spirits cannot bend down.

True enough one night he was in his room when all the lights flickered and he sensed the presence of her in the house. He was terrified and jumped under the bed following the advice of his friends, and thought that he would be safe. The room door opened and silence followed . He peered out thinking the coast was clear.

SUDDENLY THE WOMAN’s FACE APPEARED IN FRONT OF HIM

Apparently when the lady committed suicide, she jumped in head first and that was why she did not actually have to bend down to find him .
