Well its 3 am in the mourning here goes. I enlisted in the army in 1995 and for my bmt i was posted at 2bts at tekong. What can i say about tekong you must think that i am crazy but i love it. No pollution, no buses, no cars. Its cool and green. But at night, its totally diffrent. Theres two rules in tekong. No pork, no beers in the bunk. Well 2 weeks went by and parent visiting day came. The day pass by fast but at the end of the day when we about to turn in one of bunk mates confess that his parent had bring bbq pork for him and they had bring it without him knowing it. All hell broke that night when we were sleeping. We could here footsteps in the bunk. It sound click click click, like the sound made when you put matel plates on your shoe.

The next day we told our PC about it he told us there nothing we could do about it. It’s just going to get worse so the word endure was use and it did get worse at night. We would here locker open and slam shut but every body was asleep as most of us sleep with our pillow covering our face from the noise. Some got their bed kick. Some got woken up at night only to be slapped on the face. Some would hear women crying and singing in the toilet.

Whenever we book out, the other company would tell us that they could hear noises and beds being drag in our bunk but there no one in the bunk and that the door was pad lock from the outside. it lasted for the whole bmt when we were there but we got through it and we are still alive.

So guys who are about to enlist, listen to the rules. It can save you a lot of hardship in other words respect the island and it respect you .
