I think being “press” down by the supernatural while sleeping is something widely known already though still no one can be sure if it is truly something to do with the supernatural or something scientifically or psychologically but i do have some spooky experience to share.

I remember it was during my teens that I have such encounters happening to me over frequently. As a notorious teen I used to love exploring ghostly places with friends, eg: red house, yellow house, white house, old changi hospital, old changi camp, ecp yellow tower, playing oujia, even got friends who frequently got possessed by what we call ghost. i think up to a certain degree everything i seen is true because i personally do not believe 5 people could not hold down a girl who weighs merely 39kg and was even being hurt by her. that aside, my mum chided me that it was because of my adventurous nights to seek the supernatural thrill that gotten me incline to having them lurk around me and causing a disturbance during my sleep. My first encounter was seriously spooky that i never sleep in complete darkness anymore. i remember on this night i was in bed trying to sleep. Just when i thought i was sleeping already, i felt a weird tingling brain numbing sensation in my head, i tried to open my eyes but i cant, i tried to talk but i cant, i tried to move but i cant.

i was desperately scared as i know i was encountering what i always heard from others “bei gui ya”. i struggled to pry open my eyes but each time it shut back tight but i did not give up. when i finally able to open my eyes i saw a horrible thing. (i was sleeping on my side not facing up) i saw a man’s hand, wearing a suit as i could see the cuff of the suit, his hand was over me as though he’s hugging me from behind then after i saw the hand there came a loud deepest laughter of a man into my ear. i was frighten beyond words as i forced myself to wake up and not go back to sleep anymore for that night. that was the first encounter and the worst. subsequently i see things like speakers at the corner of my room with melody coming out from it, i feel something hopping at the foot of my bed around my legs, i feel something lift up both my legs and swing them left to right, i heard little girls laughing and then sob silently, i saw a black shadow of a woman… gradually i gotten used to it and i even can feel it coming before it comes.

A lot commented that my forehead looked “black” – “ying tang fa hei” which symbolize down on luck. i got the feeling so frequent that i grew out of being scared. at times it’s more annoying than scared itself. i tried all sorts of ways to stop. i would switch on religious Buddhism songs, pastor prince’s (new creation church) sermon’s tape, sprinkling lime water in my room which helped a lil only, when all didn’t work i simply sat up in bed to curse and swear asking it to leave me alone cause i need sleep for work tomorrow. at times that worked. but ever since i discharge from hospital, i rarely have such encounters anymore at home except for a few times i was at hotel in KL and BKK. I believe my luck must have improved a lot and perhaps it’s my illness that caused me to be down on luck while attracting unwelcome. these experiences was with me for a long way but i hope they will never happen again as one’s luck already ain’t too good to attract such ying elements, and with too much of ying elements one’s luck will get even more down.
