This story had probably been told a million times over but i guess some facts are not exactly accurate in some and here i will try to put the pieces together in the most logical way i can.

In 1995 a Taiwanese air stewardess were murdered in LA. So an steward was convicted and spent 6 year in jail. Fast forward, in the year 2000, SQ006 tried to depart from Taipei airport under extremely horrible weather conditions and crashed before it manages to take off.

The similarities brought about by these 2 incidents were of course its Taiwanese connection. There were rumours that said when the corpse was flown back from LA to TPE, her mum specifically dressed her up in red. In chinese custom, it meant that the spirit of her would come back and take her revenge.

The spookiest part of the story is this. Based on the survivors stories, this was what happened. Prior to taking off, they had counted 1 extra passenger in the cabin. After a recount of several times, finally they got it right. But somehow a steward noticed that a seat which was occupied a while ago is empty. So the crew search the toilets and the galleys and couldn’t find anything. Meanwhile one of the leading cabin crew saw a lady flipping through a book which contains the list of passenger’s name. As he approaches her, she suddenly dash away and gone missing.

It was believed that the ghost of the taiwanese stewardess was on the flight because her murderer was on that particular flight. She took her revenge as believed. Everything else like they say is history.
