i was a SISPEC instructor from May 04 – Oct 5. I was once stuck in Kg Unum (there is also a hot spring there but is too polluted for use) for 2 hrs with my trainee section while doing an instructor led topo ex(Gypsy 1, tekong sispec vets might rem this) no matter how i walk along the track still i came back to the same junction. my compass north also seem to be pointing in the wrong direction! anyway after 2 hour so somehow got out the area.. encountered one of the PCs at CCP 4 (a designated location in tekong for casevac) got screwed left right center for not getting enough checkpoints.
