Some believe that it is due to magnetic or some supernatural power but scientist already debunked it as an optical illusion where some part of hill which looked like slight downhill slope is in fact an uphill slope especially where the beside the slope, there is another slope that had an even steeper angle. So it will make the slope look like uphill when you are on it.
