Below is a checklist of situations or activities that bomohs advise you to do or avoid, in order to stay clear of evil spirits.

Check and see if you have broken any of these taboos:
1.No hide and seek play for children after sunset.(Presumably, you may seek out more than you bargained for!)
2.Do not eat black catfish
3.Do not destroy anthills.
4.Do not repeat the spirits sounds “pok-pok” or “nangup” after dark.(Even the spirits don’t get you, your friends might send you to WoodBridge Hospital.)
5.If you see a footprint in the road about 2 inches deep, the size of an elephant foot, but without toe nails, avoid going further.(Better yet, get the hell out of there and call the SBC hotline!)
