Sundelbolong
This ghost goes after young men ( those of you handsome ones watch out! ). It takes form of a beautiful lady and if it manages to tackle you, she will show you her very smelly butt with an ‘0? hole shape instead of the normal one ( you know ).

Thethekan
This ghost is said to kidnap children who are playing outside their home at night. One can identify it through it’s footsteps : “thek, thek, thek “.

Manananggal
A type of vampire. it is usually a female (can be a male) that at night especially during a full moon would rub a kind of oil on its body while uttering an incantation. then it grows a pair leathery wings (wing span may vary) that is similar to bat’s wings, claws and fangs while the body starts to separate on the waist. when the separation is complete, the upper half flies away in search of its victims while the lower half stays behind. the intestines are left with the lower half.

A way to kill it is to search for its lower half pour salt, garlic or holy water until it burns. to kill the upper half is much harder because it is very fast. it is usually killed or maimed by spearing it. but killing the lower half will prevent it from transforming back to its human form.

Tik-Tik
A kind of ghost that sucks the fetus from the uterus. it is usually described as the throat of the aswang. it lowers its thread like tongue to the pregnant woman’s navel, which is its point of entry. the tik-tik usually knows if there is a pregnant woman in the vicinity because a pregnant woman smells like pinipig (sweet rice). the pregnant victim wouldn’t know if a tik-tik is near but the companions can. it makes the faint sound “tik tik tik” near the victim’s house. Garlic and holy water are usually used to ward it off from the pregnant woman.

Wak Wak
The aswang’s familiar. it is a big black bird and only flies at night. it eats the heart and liver of its adult victims and it also preys on babies and children. when it is near the victim or a place where it will attack, it cries “wak, wak, wak” faintly but when it is far, it loudly cries “wak, wak, wak”

When they see a virgin woman and liked her, they would go and rape her. The woman will be impregnated and she will bear a child that would be called the Anak ng Tikbalang (Child of the Tikbalng). The child will be either a normal human with a tail when it is born or sometimes the child will just disappear inside the womans womb. They believe that the Tikbalang has taken it away.
