This incident happened a few years ago while i`m still working at the Singapore Changi Airport (Cargo Terminal). The main road leading to the Cargo Complex was very sleepy as usual althought lots of vehicles especially with cargo lories heading towards the complex. Usually during the weekends, the place is very popular for young teenagers who loves to race and the cool breeze from the nearby beach.

If you are coming by the expressway towards the Changi Beach, you will have to pass this place called “Hanger”, its the place where the aeroplane was inspected before the usual flight. There was one fine hot but not really windy sleepy afternoon, an international popular cargo driver(sorry unable to mentioned the local company name) was on his way to deliver the goods towards the terminal when suddenly the lorry flung and over-turned. From the outside of the lorry, you could see that the driver would not survive cause the vehicles was very badly damaged. There is no way that any one could survive but whatever it is, only god knows well!

The poor driver is alive and he only suffered minor scratches and bruises. That is after the police and the people start questioning and asking him about the whole thing that he actually drive at the normal speed and suddenly out of nowhere there’s this lady in kebaya and “she” actually throw her “scarf” towards him and hit the winscreen and that is when the lorry skidded and over-turned.
