Has any one heard of Zai Zai, Toyol , Guai zai, or any other forms of calling?(Guai zai is ghost kid in cantonese) Heard by my dad, and my grandfather , my grandfather was a Mao Shan learner or Taoist, something like Bomoh, or black magic(Gong Tao) , but as for Mao Shan, heavy vows has been made with proper ceremony has been held before teaching my grandfather.

My dad told me that Guai Zai is baby that is dead before giving birth, or those murderer who went for abortion. Those Guai Zai will be invited to be adopt. For Toyol it need to be feed by blood , by for Guai Zai its just normal food for kids. But it has a time limit of 7 years if I’m not wrong. As for the first few years it need milk , soft chewy sweets , porridge. And for the older ones, what ever you buy they eat. If you’re ordering a Chicken Rice, you have to order two plate , one for the Guai Zai and one for yourself . Theres a Advantage and also a Disadvantage for Guai Zai.

Advantage:
Guai Zai can bring a lot of benefit to you. As for fortune teller, they could order the Guai Zai to make you sick and when you came back to look for the fortune teller they could easily “calculate” what problem you have met. They could also ask the Guai Zai to give some lucky numbers but its not always accurate …(funny facts- My grandfather once invited a ghost kid to look for lucky number . But when the number when to be wrong my grandfather start to scold the ghost kid but my grandfather has more “power” than the ghost kid ,thus it cant *revenge to my grandfather.And as for the vows, my grandfather can never be rich, and those magic can never be use to get rich.

Disadvantage-
As it was name Guai Zai or ghost KID it could be naughty and playful. If you’re not a Taoist or any “powerful”. Priest, you can never control it, that will be when the nightmare starts. If you stop feeding them, theres 2 option for the Guai Zai.

1)Leave and get a better owner.
Or
2)Revenge and “play” till you are half dead, and leave for a better owner.

Revenge are not that simple they make you broke, every of your family members die but not you and even worst.

Once you invited them or adopt them,
you cant throw it into anywhere like a rubbish. You can only give it to other people like what my grandfather did or wait for 7 years to let the ghost kid grown up and leave you automatically.
But it takes 40 days to leave you fully.
As when it is invited to you, its part of you already and once 7 years are up, it will reincarnation, and you will get sick for that 40days.
