The story that I faintly remembered… I think told to me by my fren whose dad was a constable (locally) and retired a couple years back… This incident happened to his working counterpart quite some time ago. My friend’s dad’s fren, A (cannot remember his name, so I call him A) decided to rent a bungalow to reward his kids of their hard work for their exam.. It’s the govt kind of bungalow; cheap rental and located in ulu places. I cannot remember where exactly is this bungalow located but then I think it’s in the east, maybe Changi area ba… Anyway… let me continue…

The first day ended peacefully, everyone got excited about the bungalow, the view and such and turn in pretty early after having their dinner. On the second day of their stay, their bungalow phone suddenly sounded and A went to pick up the normal phone; why I say normal phone that’s because (from my fren narration) in bungalow from the police force there is also a inline phone, a phone that the police HQ can call directly and the number is not known to the public.. Anyway, A pick up the normal phone and realised that he has picked up the wrong one.. He then went to the inline phone and answer it.

“Hello, who’s on the…”

“Help!!! Help!!! Someone please come and save me….” a girl’s voice of distress from the other end came before A can finish asking who is she… And before he can ask her where and who is she, the line went dead..

Thinking that it’s a prank call, A shrugged his shoulder and went back to where the rest of his family are… He soon forgot abt the incident…

Later that day, the same phone rang a few times, A went to picked it up and the same voice pleaded him to help again and again… A got a little pissed and asked whoever she was to stop the prank or he will have her arrested… The girl stopped calling that day…

The following day, same thing happened; phone rang, A picked up and heard pleads for help… A decided to nab the prankster so he asked the girl where she is… “I don’t know where I am, but I know I am locked in a warehouse, please come and save me”

A got the girl to calm down and got her to describe her surrounding.. When A roughly know where that place was, he and a few fellow colleagues (A invited his colleagues over) decided to go to that place…

When they got there, they found a deserted warehouse that was locked from the outside, A and his colleagues decided to investigate the place, they (somehow) unlock the warehouse and went in to explore… That place smell bad, seems like it was abandoned for a long time…

One of A colleague stumbled upon something. To their surprise, it’s a set of skeleton! Immediately, they decided to call in the police (on duty)… Forensic scientists were brought in also…

The report gotten from the forensic dept a few days later indicated it belong to a female entity. When A and his colleagues were questioned how they managed to go to that warehouse, they don’t really know how to explain themselves; tell their fellow policemen that a ghost plead for help?!?! Who will believe??

Anyway… I cannot remember how this case ended… But there was something that A saw in the warehouse… There was a phone in one of the room there… And that phone line was cut off… He believed the poor girl tried to sought help using that phone before she died eventually…
